before and after opening.
Thanks to barrier films and specialised valves, our packaging effectively limits the wine's contact with oxygen.
This means that after opening, the wine does not oxidise as quickly as it would in a bottle. In practice, this
means that it can be consumed for 2–6 weeks (depending on the type of wine) without any noticeable loss of
aroma or taste. It is the perfect solution for retail customers, catering (wine by the glass), hotels, events and
festivals.
Our valves – precision, hygiene, reliability
At BiBP, we design and manufacture our own valves and taps, which are fully compatible with all types of wine.
Our solutions minimise the risk of wine coming into contact with air, eliminate leaks and facilitate dispensing
– without waste or mess.
We use high-quality film materials that guarantee durability and full protection of the contents:
● PE (polyethylene) – ensures mechanical resistance and flexibility of the bag,
● EVOH (vinyl alcohol copolymer) – effectively blocks oxygen and moisture,
● Metallised films – protect against light, which can adversely affect the taste of wine.
This combination provides a high level of barrier protection – both before and after opening. Wine stored in BiB
is protected from light, secured against micro-air leaks and resistant to temperature changes during transport.
This is particularly important for natural and unfiltered wines, which are more susceptible to changes in
external conditions
We supply Bag in Box packaging in a wide range of capacities – from 2 to 220 litres:
