Bag in Box packaging

Aseptic bag in box packaging

Bag in Box aseptic bags are a key component of modern liquid packaging systems that require the highest level of hygiene and protection against microbial contamination. At BiBP, we specialise in the production and supply of technologically advanced aseptic bags designed for the storage and transport of a wide range of products, from fruit juices and vegetable purees to dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical products.
Thanks to the use of specialised barrier materials, aseptic bags enable long-term storage of liquids without the need for preservatives or refrigeration. They comply with international food safety standards.

What are aseptic bags?

Aseptic bags are flexible, single-use packaging that, after sterilisation, are hermetically sealed and designed to be filled under aseptic conditions – i.e. without contact with outside air and without the risk of microbiological contamination. This ensures that the final product retains its full quality, freshness and nutritional value for up to several months.
These bags are mainly used in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, wherever microbiological purity and a long shelf life without the use of preservatives are of key importance.

Materials and construction
Aseptic bags are made of multi-layer barrier films (e.g. EVOH, MET-PET), which effectively protect the product against:
● UV light,
● oxygen,
● water vapour,
● odour and flavour transfer. Each batch of bags is subject to strict quality control, including leak tests, barrier tests and strength tests.

Key advantages of aseptic bags

Microbiological safety of packaging
Thanks to the sterilisation process and aseptic filling, the product is completely protected from contact with oxygen, microorganisms and external factors. This guarantees the highest quality and health safety
Long shelf life
Products packaged under aseptic conditions can be stored for many months without refrigeration and without the use of preservatives – while remaining 100% natural
Economical and sustainable logistics
Aseptic bags in the Bag in Box system are lightweight, take up little space and generate less waste than traditional glass or metal packaging. This translates into real savings in transport and storage.
Compatibility with aseptic systems
Our bags are compatible with the most popular aseptic filling machines on the market, both automatic and semi-automatic.
Minimisation of product loss
The special design of the bag allows for almost complete emptying of the contents – without dripping, spilling or wasting raw materials.

Production in accordance with international standards

Since 2022, we have also been a member of ABMA (Aseptic Bag Manufacturers Association) – an international association of aseptic bag manufacturers, which gives us
