Aseptic process in the production of Bag in Box packaging

Contemporary health and safety standards in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries require exceptional precision and attention to quality and cleanliness at every stage of production.

At BiBP, we understand that the proper protection of liquid products has a direct impact on the health and satisfaction of end consumers. That is why the aseptic process plays a key role for us, enabling the safe packaging of liquids without the need for preservatives. As a result, products retain their freshness, natural taste and full chemical properties for a long time — even during long-distance transport or storage in variable conditions.

Key stages of the aseptic process

Production in clean rooms

All operations take place in cleanliness classes that comply with international standards — with restricted access and full supervision of the production environment.

Sterilisation of packaging materials

Components (including valves, multilayer films, closures) are subjected to radiation sterilisation (e.g. with an electron beam), eliminating microorganisms and pathogens while maintaining the integrity of the material.

Aseptic filling and sealing

We use modern packaging machines that enable precise filling and sealing of packaging under sterile conditions, eliminating the risk of secondary contamination.

Advanced quality control

Each batch of products is tested for leak tightness, mechanical strength and microbiological purity. We document all parameters for full traceability.

What makes our aseptic process unique?

As one of the few manufacturers in Central and Eastern Europe, we offer a fully integrated aseptic process, supported by a Research and Development Centre and dedicated quality and process optimisation teams. Our approach combines production flexibility, the highest level of microbiological safety and comprehensive customer service – from technical consulting to after-sales support.

01.

Cooperation with three independent partners in the field of sterilisation

By diversifying our supply chain, we ensure continuity of service without the risk of order interruptions, even in emergency situations.

02.

No logistical restrictions

We use a network of seven independent sterilisation centres, which enables flexible and timely deliveries — both in Poland and abroad.

03.

Global availability

Our products can be shipped directly after sterilisation to other continents, including the USA, Latin America, Africa and Australia. We handle container transport (DV 20', DV 40'), ensuring appropriate conditions and documentation.

04.

Highest quality materials

We use only carefully selected films and closures that are resistant to oxidation and cross-linking processes, are suitable for radiation sterilisation and do not lose their barrier properties.

05.

Production conditions under full control

Clean rooms maintain strictly controlled parameters — temperature, humidity, pressure and air quality are monitored in real time.

06.

Validation of methods and continuous monitoring of sterilisation effectiveness

Each new batch of product undergoes testing for the effectiveness of the dose used, and the entire process complies with current ISO standards and industry guidelines.

Our plans

We aim to continue improving our production processes and introducing innovative solutions.

Environmentally friendly materials

With care for the natural environment, we are developing materials that are recyclable while reducing the use of those that cannot be separated for recycling. We aim to replace multi-material and metallised films with alternative film structures that offer comparable mechanical properties.
